Don’t tell anyone, but the red carpet is an overrated source of style inspiration. A-listers always look great but the clothes are free, the stylists unseen and the dress code, well, unless you have a film premiere in the calendar, it’s unlikely you’ll be stealing many of those outfits. Which is why, more often than not, we get our style fix much closer to home.
In the past 12 months, our photographers stopped thousands of well-dressed men in the street and took their picture. They’re not movie stars or models, at least not usually (we won’t apologise for occasionally snapping Johannes Huebl). More often, they’re guys like you and us, going about their business and wearing the hell out of everyday clothes that anyone can lay their hands on.
