Transparent, the Stockholm-based design studio behind some of the most elegant minimalist speakers on the market, is expanding the sensory language of the home. Their new Aroma Diffuser brings the brand’s precision engineering and timeless Scandinavian design into the world of fragrance — exploring how scent can enhance emotion, mood, and atmosphere.

Known for transforming sound into sculptural design, Transparent now applies the same philosophy to scent. “Fragrance gives us the ability to experience powerful, instant emotions and memories,” says Per Brickstad, the brand’s Creative Director. “We’ve engineered this device in honor of that beautiful sensory phenomenon — to enrich homes in a natural, clean and timeless way.”
Using ultrasonic technology, the diffuser converts fragrance oil and water into an ultra-fine mist that disperses evenly throughout a space — without open flames, smoke, or pollutants.

True to Transparent’s modular design ethos, the Aroma Diffuser is made from glass and aluminum — materials chosen for their recyclability and longevity. Every component can be disassembled for cleaning or upgrades, ensuring it lasts for years.
The device is designed as an open system, compatible with any fragrance oil, allowing users to personalize their scent experience.

Alongside the diffuser, Transparent has created a curated collection of natural essential oils inspired by the Nordic landscape — Pine, Red Cedar, and Spruce. These scents evoke forests, cold air, and quiet mornings — timeless and grounding notes designed to reconnect users to nature.
More than a decade after first debuting on Kickstarter, Transparent is returning to the platform for this launch. “Reuniting with our original community felt right,” says Brickstad. “Kickstarter gave us our start — it’s where we share new ideas first.”
The Aroma Diffuser will be available for pre-order in November 2025 on Kickstarter and Transparent’s website, followed by a full release through the brand’s global retail network.
