Pretty Green is the fashion vision of Liam Gallagher, which he founded in 2009. The brand describes itself as "upfront and straight talking" - just like its founder.
The brand has two separate lines: the Green Label, which is a "focused, casual range, dedicated to providing quality, everyday signature pieces" and epitomises the Brit Pop style that bands like Oasis were famed for; and the Black Label, which is higher priced and includes "classic British tailoring, using fine fabrics with an innovative attention to detail".
Overall, the brand embodies all the features of classic British rock music, with Oasis-esque parkas, Lennon-esque military jackets and simple Damon Albarn-type tops. The Green Label is perfect for casual festival wear, whilst the Black Label can provide you with timelessly cool, high quality items with a rock and roll feel.
The brand currently only has stores throughout UK and Ireland, in major towns and cities, including London, Manchester, Brighton, Cardiff, Belfast and Reading. It stocks footwear, outerwear, knitwear, denim and, eyewear and accessories and also sells vinyl. The vinyl selection comprises LPs from the biggest names in British music over the last 40 years, including hit records from bands like The Rolling Stones, Elbow, Ian Brown, T Rex and The Cure. You can also pick up mini amps and headphones from Marshall, with over ear headphones priced at £100.
Some of the clothing is certainly not cheap - shirts retail at around £70, whilst polos and tee shirts area little cheaper at around £45. Coats from the higher end Black Label collection can be up to £1000+ for sheepskin parkas, however, there are also much more affordable options like tweed frock coats for under £300, which is more reasonable when you think how long they should last for. You can pick up a pair of classic circular Lennon style sunglasses for around £90, too.
