Damir Doma Archive Collection
Late Night Chameleon Café, better known as LN-CC, has followed the growth of Parisian fashion brand DAMIR DOMA since its inception in 2006, as well as playing an active role in its seven year development.
Describing itself as a “progressive retail concept of clothing, music & books,” LN-CC is a passionate and innovative click ‘n’ brick company which nurtures and distributes emerging brands in exciting and attention grabbing ways.
The Croatia-born, Bavaria-raised Damir Doma, enterprising founder of the eponymous, budding brand, is a minimalist designer whose work seems to be as at home topping lists of industry up-and-comers as it is in its dedicated three storey boutique in Rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris, next door to Commes des Garçons.
This year, LN-CC launches the Damir Doma Archive, an assortment of items comprising work pieced together from Doma’s entire career, beginning with his second collection and continuing all the way to his AW12 releases.
Made up of fifty key pieces, the majority of which were designed specifically for runways and editorials, the archive represents the major milestones in the young purist’s career, showcasing pioneering garments and highlighting the turning points and crowning moments of his past collections.
A clear highlight of the archive is the striped grey cardigan with belt detailing, which was originally released in SS09. It is a piece that perfectly illustrates the trailblazing quality and promise of Doma’s earlier work.
The LN-CC/DAMIR DOMA archive officially launched on July 15th and the range is available for perusal or purchase on the LN-CC website.
