A Kind of Guise SS14 lookbook
German menswear label A Kind of Guise has released the lookbook for its new spring/summer 2014 collection. Clothes making up the line, titled Strada Per Limone, have been inspired by the atmosphere of Italian spring. As a result, colours and silhouettes found in the north of the country can be seen throughout. With an overarching casual feel, the range is given a formal twist via the use of high quality fabrics and production methods. The brand places a strong emphasis on the use of local materials and restricts its production to just a handful of select German manufacturers. SS14 from the brand features denims and cottons sourced from Italy and Japan as well as Germany. Knitwear and light summer-appropriate jackets are available as part of the range, along with a wide range of shirts, shorts and trousers. A variety of suits is also included, available in either a relaxed, voluminous cut or skinnier, fitted styles. Each combines traditional detailing with modern influences in order to further enhance the smart-casual feel of the collection. A Kind of Guise, which started out as a student project back in 2009, is now stocked at stores both in the UK and Munich. Prices for the Strada Per Limone range start at £140.
