The Man by Cartier Exhibition Launches
Luxury watch brand Cartier has opened a pop-up exhibition at Harrods, celebrating travellers, explorers, groundbreakers and entrepreneurs.
The Man by Cartier pop-up is at the department store until 11th November. The watch and jewellery brand said the exhibition “asserts a masculine elegance that forms the heart” of the house.
“This is the year – 110 years after the creation of the first modern wristwatch by Louis Cartier – to pay homage, and celebrate the man’s natural home in the Cartier universe,” said Cartier managing director Laurent Feniou.
“We are delighted to showcase the men’s universe to our customers in Harrods and convey the elegance of the Cartier man.”
The space showcases an “exceptional showcase of the most iconic Cartier creations,” from vintage pieces through to the latest innovations, including the brand new Calibre de Cartier Diver, Fine Watchmaking Collection and Cartier concept watches.
On view is also the newly released short film Shape Your Time, directed by Bruno Aveillan, who in 2012 created the masterpiece L’Odyssée de Cartier.
The exhibit is based on the ground floor pop-up space via door ten, with the take over of a number of the store’s windows.
