New Look Menswear SS14
The latest menswear collection from high street favourite New Look aims to explore new territory as it makes the most of tailoring.
Founded in 1969, the British retailer has become synonymous with churning out on trend pieces at affordable prices. The formula has been key to the brand’s success, not only in the UK but internationally. Worldwide it has over 1,100 stores including branches in France, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and Russia.
SS14 brings about the brand’s most comprehensive tailoring range to date. Separates and full suits are available and come in a diverse palette, from pink and blue to autumnal tones of grey and brown.
Suits come in trouser and seasonally-appropriate short options – all slim-cut for a young and modern silhouette.
Among the separates, a grey heritage wool blazer is available. It comes in a slightly cropped cut with two front pockets and two-button up front.
Tailoring prices from the brand, which introduced menswear in 2003, start at £49.99:
The store has been conscious not to alienate everyday shoppers by maintaining a casual element. Floral prints feature heavily throughout the streetwear-inspired casual line, with short sleeve shirts, shorts, t-shirts and lightweight jackets taking centre stage.
The Hawaiian grey and peach floral all-over print bomber jacket is a particular highlight. Priced at £34.99 it features a zip-up front, cuffed wrists and hem and comes in a slim fit.
Part of the line, including a majority of the tailoring, is available in store and online at NewLook.com now. The rest will be available in drops from now until May.
