Nudie Jeans Spring/Summer 2014
Swedish label Nudie Jeans has unveiled its SS14 lookbook. The new collection shows a move away from tradition for the brand, edging towards a more streamlined look. Reflecting the brand’s love of worn-in and well-loved denim, Swedish worker styles have been mixed with clean cut tailoring. Featuring a classic range of distressed straight and skinny-fit jeans, stand-out piecesinclude a six-button denim waistcoat and black wash denim blazer, finished with brown buttons. Clean cut t-shirts and loose fitting jumpers have been paired with slim-fit selvedge jeans, while tailored shirts are styled with waistcoats in a collection designed to have universal appeal. With a colour palette ranging from dark greys to deep indigos, contrasting denims have been styled together to showcase the versatility of the fabric. The SS14 collection also introduces two new fits of jean. The Skinny Sam, featuring a curved waistband, is a great addition to the skinny stretch line. Steady Eddie offers a new take on the traditional straight cut jean. As always, Nudie Jeans are committed to sustainable and socially responsible organic denim.
