Opumo Expands Into Footwear

E-commerce brand Opumo has expanded its carefully curated product range to include men’s footwear. The move sees yet more sought-after brands added to the premium site, including Common Projects, Grenson and Mark McNairy.

The UK accessory website, which was founded by Nicholas Ayoub and Harry Beattie in 2012, now boasts customers from over 72 countries worldwide and an impressive 24 per cent growth month-on-month.

Opumo’s latest venture has also received the backing of Diemme, Buttero and YMC.

Founder Nicholas Ayoub spoke exclusively to FashionBeans, explaining the pair’s ambition for Opumo is to, “become synonymous with premium designer footwear as we have successfully done with accessories since the store’s inception two years ago.”

The 29-year-old went on to say: “Our footwear brand mix is extremely strong for launch and will continue grow over the coming months with a number of exciting collaborations and special releases in the pipeline.”

Newly added brands are in good company as the store already hosts the likes of WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie, Sandqvist and Garrett Leight.

The new division focuses on exceptional craftsmanship and style, with the shoes on offer ranging from Goodyear welted brogues to Italian-crafted hi-tops.

Prices within the selection range between £60 and £300, with next day delivery available on all orders.
