Classic footballing brand Admiral has returned with a fresh new look for autumn/winter 2015, drawing on over 100 years’ experience in the industry.

Since its launch back in 1914, Admiral has had a long standing association with the beautiful game, creating performance and lifestyle apparel for the UK’s leading clubs and players. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, the likes of Kevin Keegan and Gary Lineker played in Admiral kits, while the England strip the brand created for the 1982 World Cup remains one of the most iconic designs in British footballing history.

After a manufacturing break in 2011, the label is re-launching as Admiral Sportswear for autumn/winter 2015, bringing with it two brand new collections – Gold and Retro – each nodding to its strong sporting heritage.

The Retro line digs back into the Admiral archives, using the same materials and tapered branding as its classic football kits to produce a nostalgic line-up of sportswear pieces.

Meanwhile, the Gold line provides a modern take on British heritage menswear, offering everyday sports-inspired garments with a luxe twist, from tipped polo shirts to chino shorts.

The 28-piece Admiral autumn/winter 2015 collection is available now exclusively at 90 Sainsbury’s stores nationwide, with prices ranging from £16 to £30.
