Daniel Peters

Daniel Peters is known for his various pop-up stores set in outposts across London, carefully curating the best of the current crop of menswear talent into one-stop style destinations.

Giving them an edge on their competitors, Peters’ temporary locations celebrate elegant and timeless British menswear, whether as part of London Collections: Men or under the BBS Clothing moniker.

The latter venture’s most recent offering, named Pop-Up at No.9, is running at its Covent Garden location until 13 January.

Five Questions For Daniel Peters

FashionBeans: What was your most recent fashion purchase?
Daniel Peters: Most recently, I picked up a pair of the classic Old Skool white leather Vans Era.

What was it that made you buy them?
You can’t beat a fresh pair of all-white trainers. I spotted them in Size Covent Garden for an absolute bargain so they had to come home with me.

What’s your next purchase?
I think I’ll be investing in a Dent De Man Eau de Vie bird print coat. It’s a great piece for adding a little bit of style personality.

What’s your current daily essential item?
I can’t help but wear a sweatshirt on a daily basis at the moment, namely a grey marl number. It’s my staple piece and I have an assortment of colours to keep things from looking stale.

We recommend Sunspel for high quality basics.

What would be your dream purchase this season?
I’m lusting after a new suit, and in particular have my eye on a grey A. Sauvage number.

A Made-to-Measure service is available from A. Sauvage.
