Won Hundred Unisex Hoodie
If the #TakeHerHoodie hashtag has taught us anything this October, it’s that gender-neutral fashion is the new normal. We hate to admit it, but Kanye was right with that kilt. It’s not too late to blur the lines, with the likes of contemporary Swedish label Won Hundred launching a debut unisex line.
Available at Won Hundred, priced £130.
Massimo Dutti Slim Fit Jeans With Speckles
The rise (and rise, and rise) of trends such as athleisure has meant our more rigid menswear pieces have had to adapt to a new relaxed way of dressing. The Soft collection from Spanish fashion chain Massimo Dutti does just that, reworking everything from jackets to jeans in materials comfortable enough to feel like second skin.
Available at Massimo Dutti, priced £54.95.
Barbour Limited Edition Union Jack Bedale Jacket

Burton Big And Tall Burgundy Roll Neck
We men come in all shapes and sizes: bulky, bean pole, brawny, bony, burly, and other words beginning with B. So Burton spotted a sizeable opportunity to add a big and tall category to its offering. The line accommodates men up to 4XL and those with longer limbs with well-cut everyday pieces that are both flattering to the figure and light on the wallet.
Available at Burton, priced £22.
Whistles Worsted Tweed Overcoat
There’s something reassuring about owning a coat you can crawl inside of and die when it gets too cold. Whistles’ made-in-England worsted tweed overcoat fits the bill. The double faced cloth made up of Lambswool and Shetland yarns was woven at one of the finest traditional mills in Lancashire.
Available exclusively at Whistles’ Boundary Street Menswear Store, London, priced £500.
Thomas Pink Bulldog Shirt
Sure Bulldogs have qualities you don’t want in a shirt, like far too many wrinkles and short extremities. But Thomas Pink named its new, affordable range after the pooch for all the right reasons. Strong: made from hard-wearing cotton pinpoint fabric, and loyal: with extra strong buttons that won’t ping off after one too many treats.
Available at Thomas Pink, priced £45.
The Annabel’s Smoking Jacket From Casely-Hayford
Party season will soon be upon us, which means we get to get drunk in all sorts of fancy clobber. If you can trust yourself not to spill wine down it, you could do a lot worse than a velvet smoking jacket created by stellar British menswear label Casely-Hayford for exclusive London private members’ club Annabel’s.
Available at Harvey Nichols London, priced £675.
End X Clarks Originals Desert Coal Black Diamond
So this is what George Osborne meant by a northern powerhouse. British footwear brand Clarks has teamed up with Newcastle-based retailer End to update the classic desert boot. Paying homage to the thousands of workers who toiled down mines in search of coal, the soot-black boot is wrapped in bovine leather sourced from Leeds and sits atop a tonal desert trek crepe sole.
Available from October 15 at End, priced £109.
