To celebrate the things that unify all of us, Brain Dead and Dover Street Market have teamed up for WORLD UPDATE. The concept space will feature an installation of printed silk scarves, prints and exclusive apparel, all in honour of Brain Dead and Dover Street Market’s shared love of underground culture and emerging artists from the music, visual and design industries.
The scarf exhibit will feature the work of six unique artists: Clay Arlington, Kevin Harris, Tim Head, Chris Oh, Jen Shear and B. Thom Stevenson. While the scarves are part of the installation, they are also available for purchase. The five-of-a-kind accessories include a collector’s box and a hand-signed certificate by the artist themselves.
The exclusive apparel collection includes four limited edition pieces. The Jumanji Jacket comes in black and features bold lettering across the back proclaiming, ‘Stamp Out Reality’. The Oblivion Crew is a long-sleeved T-shirt with monochrome graphics on the front and back. The Bather T-Shirt features screen printing and Japanese lettering and the World Update T-shirt shows off both Brain Dead and Dover Street Market’s iconic logos.
The constantly evolving space will also showcase exhibitions, stock records and zines, and art installations and objects.
The collection is available exclusively from the Dover Street Market E-Shop or in store at Dover Street Market London, with New York and Ginza locations slated to stock it soon after.
