Turnbull & Asser, Maharishi and DKNY Men are among the new names on the provisional schedule for London Collections: Men’s spring/summer 2015 event. The three brands will join over sixty existing menswear designers, including Topman Design, Paul Smith and Hackett, at the three day showcase, which will take place from June 15-17th 2014. Subject to change, it has been confirmed that Lou Dalton will open the line-up once again, an honour the Liberty collaborator has carried out every year. Recent NewGen additions, Alex Mullins and Craig Green, will make an appearance at the fifth round of bi-annual shows and presentations, alongside European Woolmark Prize nominees Agi & Sam. River Island’s partnership with Baartmans and Siegel will also get its first outing across the dates. In addition to showcasing collections for the seasons ahead, LC:M brings with it numerous events at venues across the capital, with The Hospital Club in Covent Garden often acting as the central hub. The schedule has been revealed just days after the British Fashion Council announced the London fashion slot will move its January dates, following a deal made with Pitti Immagine Uomo to work together to avoid an overlap. At the last London Collections: Men in January, FashionBeans partnered with Burberry to provide backstage coverage at the British firm’s Prorsum show, interviewing Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey. News of key shows and developments will be found here on the news feed.
