American labels Supreme and Vans are continuing to build on their ongoing partnership, releasing a new take on Vans’ Old Skool silhouette for spring/summer 2015.
The brands’ latest collaborative line takes the classic skating shoe and switches out its usual canvas upper for a perforated leather fabric, providing a luxe option for the warmer months.
Worlds away from US streetwear label Supreme’s recent camouflage update of Vans’ Sk8 Mid and Old Skool silhouettes, the range sticks to simple all-over colour-blocking, with nothing but a clean white sole and sleek lines for contrast.
Blue, white, red and black grid-effect colourways are on offer in the Perforated Leather Pack, all coming complete with a matching leather lining, inner sole and laces.
While Vans’ ongoing relationship with Supreme is one of its strongest, the skating brand has also worked with the likes of Carhartt WIP and Russian artist Gosha Rubchinskiy in recent months.
