Over the last week I decided I wanted to go for a new short hairstyle. As always I did my research and looked all across the Internet for decent short mens hairstyles. However, I found that it was really hard to get decent pictures and ideas for a new style. This is what has inspired this post today… I have looked through 100′s of images looking for a variety of short hairstyles for men that you could use for your next look. Below you will find celebrity styles, short choppy styles and some longer example which edge towards mid length hair. Most of the images I found are for white males (as I am), but if there is enough interest/response in finding some more great styles then I will create another post for black and ethnic hairstyles. Mid length and Longer styles will also be catered for over the next coming weeks.
Before we start it is important to use the correct grooming products for any length hair. Below are 6 of my favourite hair styling products which are perfect for short styles and really will help control and enhance your cut. Remember to get your hair cut by a trusted and respected stylist as having great hair can make or break any look. Take a picture for an example and do not leave until you are completely satisfied with your cut. That is what you are paying the money for!
These are the products I use regularly or what I have used regularly in the past. There is every type of product you can imagine below with putty’s, clays, creme and gels (for extreme styles and hold). My personal favourites are the 3 on the top line and I find it is good to have a variety of styling products at your disposal as some people like to mix (a matte look but extreme hold for example) and it is also preferable to have the option of changing your look for specific occasions and events.
If you like any of the pictures below make you print it out to take along with you when you get your hair cut. Just right click and select save (image) as.
