Converse Chuck Taylor Hiker Hi
New in at Crooked Tongues this week is the Converse Chuck Taylor Hiker Hi.
The Chuck Taylor Hiker Hi comes in three colour ways: black, chocolate and candied ginger & chocolate. The design steers away from the hugely popular plimsoll silhouette Converse are renowned for and resembles more of a hiking boot style.
Our favourite colour way from the collection is the Candied Ginger and Chocolate shade. On this model the main body of the trainer features a soft canvas upper in tan, and is complete with contrasting dark brown leather accents.
Other details include: Metal D-Ring eyelets that hold thick red rope style laces – popular on most other hiking boot styles this season – and visible stitch detail, which is featured all over the upper body of the trainer.
Although Converse have revamped a classic with this particular model, one feature that does follow the lineage of the other iconic Chuck Taylor styles is the traditional Converse white vulcanised sole.
Retailing at just £56 we can’t think of a good enough excuse not to get ourselves a pair. If you feel the same way as us head over to Crooked Tongues now.
