Continuing on from the success of their autumn/winter 2011 lookbook (which we introduced you to last week), London based boutique LN-CC have now released part two – which again primarily focuses on knitwear and outwear collections.
Similarly to part one, it has been shot against a plain white backdrop in order to not detract attention away from the garments.
Balenciaga, Unused and Nonnative have been utilised as the key brands for the styling of the lookbook, which also incorporates some of LN-CC’s more popular brands such as: Damir Doma, Martin Margiela, Sunsea and Junya Watanabe, to name but a few.
One of the stand out pieces from the collection that we couldn’t take our eyes off was the Junya Watanabe Men’s Wool Fair Isle Duffel Coat. This statement coat will keep you right on trend for winter, as duffel coats have been all over the high street and runways this season, and named a key outerwear piece by the whole team here at FashionBeans. It has been styled very well in the lookbook; by teaming it with plain muted colours it means there are no clashing of patterns that could of become overwhelming, and allows the dominant print of the coat to take centre stage.
Apart from the striking Fair Isle print in orange, navy and white tones, it also features navy cowhide elbow patches, panelling across the front and back of the shoulders and matching cowhide straps at each cuff, which can be adjusted using two crushed leather buttons. Attention to detail is clear, with hidden features such as a concealed zip that runs up the front allowing the coat to be securely fastened – whether by toggles, zip or both.
Head over to LN-CC now to shop the collection.
