Massimo Dutti have released a November lookbook to showcase their latest menswear collection. Modelled by Matthew Avedon, it is entitled ‘For Winter Days’ – showcasing a range of clothing intended for just that.
The images are shot against a textured effect backdrop, and the styling heavily features the use of layering – practical and appropriate for the colder seasons to come.
It is obvious from the lookbook images shown below that emphasis is placed on well cut tailored pieces such as overcoats, shirts and trousers – creating effortless classic outfits by simply layering knitwear over shirts or shirt/tie combinations. The lookbook manages to showcase the current collection in a variety of comfortable and easy to wear smart-casual looks, consisting of quite muted earth tones such as browns, greys and navy.
One of our favourite looks comes in the form of the navy blazer and roll neck combination, as this is a ‘go-to’ pairing for this autumn/winter. Not only does it use one of the seasons key pieces – the roll neck jumper – but it has also been accessorised beautifully through the incorporation of a pocket square and lightweight scarf. These subtle additions help give the look some individuality and an overall elegant touch.
