GANT Fragrance Fall/Winter 2011
With the coming together of one of the world’s most renowned perfumers, Pierre Wulff, and iconic perfume bottle designer Pierre Dinand, it was inevitable that GANT’S new fragrance for fall/winter 2011 was going to be a success.
The inspiration behind the scent came from the fresh airy smell that you only get from the ocean, combined with the dark woody aroma of the old clipper ships that sailed between Asia and New England; capturing the essence of an outdoors coastal lifestyle perfectly. Ingredients such as tar, ocean and wood scents are blended with lemon, coriander, cinnamon and lavender – producing a sophisticated and masculine aroma.
As for the design of the all important bottle (imperative for the fashion conscious FashionBeans male) – it comes in a gorgeous deep blue glass, with an etched braided wicker design all over. The wicker design was inspired by the old wicker baskets that sailors used for transporting goods across the sea, and only serves to enhance the nautical coast theme that GANT were aiming to achieve.
This scent will be sold exclusively at GANT stores worldwide.
