Adidas Y-3 Desert Boot

When broken down, Y-3 stands for Yohji Yamamoto, with the 3 representing Adidas’ three stripes. It is a brand which fuses Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto’s innovative designs with the breakthrough technologies of renowned sportswear brand Adidas. For the current season they have released a modernised take on the classic desert boot.

Based on a traditional desert boot silhouette, the sophisticated footwear also incorporates performance features, such as: a Poron sockliner for comfort; EVA midsole with adiPRENE for cushioning; TORSION SYSTEM for stability; an EVA and perforated high-quality rubber outsole for lightweight durable grip.

Other details include: black Nappa leather construction, canvas and pig leather lining, rubber sole, Yohji Yamamoto branding as well as Adidas’ iconic 3 stripe detailing to not only the inner side of the boot but also as an eye catching detail to the heel.

These desert boots have been designed with versatility in mind, allowing them to be dressed up or down dependent upon the situation.
