AllSaints is bringing back the chunky cardigan, and have given it a geek to chic makeover in their new autumn collection.

Using an Alpaca blend yarn (76% Acrylic 20% Wool 4% Alpaca), the cardigan is versatile enough to be worn both open or fastened. It could also be oversized and used as an alternative to an outerwear garment due to its heavy silhouette.

Rather than a more traditional reverse stitch, the Dwell cardigan boasts a wide collar and placket, complete with metal hook and bar fastening. The collar can also be rolled back for a more comfortable fit. The garment has been designed, according to the AllSaints website, with “supreme autumn comfort” in mind.

For contemporary autumn chic with a stylish traditional twist, there really is no better piece for a man’s wardrobe this season. The AllSaints website suggests pairing it with Toxic Pipe Jeans, Segment Shoes, a Tonic Crew T-Shirt and the Bloomsbury Denim Jacket. The Toxic Pipe Jeans, in particular, will allow a slender or athletic body type to show off their figure and clash the overall silhouette against the chunkier top half.
