Originally training as a painter, Alyssa Norton moved away from this career to study jewellery at the Institute of D’Allende in Mexico. It was this change in life path that led to the designer establishing her self titled label back in 2004.

Alyssa Norton is renowned within the business for her experimental approach to design and utilisation of contrasting materials. By juxtaposing hard with soft and natural with synthetics, the designer manages to create truly unique, yet wearable, collections.

The new spring/summer 2012 range sees the designer blend braided silk thread with various sized chains, producing beautifully crafted accessories that are finished off with metal clasps, charms and tassel detailing. The innovative construction techniques and rich, bold colours are only further enhanced by the jewellery’s versatility – with single pieces being able to be worn as necklaces, bracelets, belts and even hair pieces.
