Today our very own Ben Jones previewed one of the major trends to watch out for this autumn/winter 2012 – The Parka Jacket – and detailed how this classic outerwear style is set to make a huge comeback for the AW12 season.

With that in mind, we have come across this distinct and innovative take on the traditional parka jacket by online retailer ASOS.

Not only does this piece fit right in with the parka trend but it also slots nicely into another key trend of the season, fur, with the inclusion of its complimenting faux fur collar trim.

Constructed from a wool blend outer, the design features a monotone blanket stripe, which only helps to enhance the aesthetic by adding a textural dimension to the already stylish and masculine outerwear piece.
