Bucks & Co SS13 Collection
The latest SS13 lookbook by Bucks & Co utilises a “Modern Hunter” theme; styling the modern gent for his busy urban lifestyle, it brings a touch of traditional country hunt wear to the city.
Due for release spring 2013, the collection gives classic heritage styles a contemporary twist. A mixture of casual tailoring and a wide range of denim provide the core of the collection – with the denim in particular heavily influenced by renowned Japanese design and manufacturing techniques.
Bucks & Co pride themselves on providing well cut denim that maintains it shape and style with age. The collection provides three different cuts that are designed to suit your leg shape and/or personal style:
- The Fox – A slim/skinny fit for the slender gent.
- The Game – A tapered leg for a modern, in vogue look.
- The Hound – A low rise relaxed fit, for more reserved men or those with larger thighs.
A must have piece from the current collection is the Ticking Fade Wash Stripe Blazer – it’s Dandy-esque styling exemplifies how a classic county look can be combined with modern fashion influences to create a bold, on trend statement; accompanied with a bow tie and striped shirt (as shown in lookbook), it is a smart-casual look that cannot fail to get you noticed.
Describing the concept and inspiration behind the new range, brand manager Hussain Suleman said:
“The SS13 collection is a hybrid of trend led shapes and independently developed fabrics with traditional hunting details providing a chic alternative for the modernist hunter, who is sharp, sophisticated & has the desire to dress impeccably well, all the while craving practicality from every garment he wears enabling the living and loving of his carefree lifestyle.”
The attention to detail is clearly apparent from this lookbook – the shirting sees every last button accented with an orange thread, t-shirt sleeves come complete with button turn-ups and classic hunting pockets add a sense of authenticity.
