Enjoying a reputation for innovative, subtle and playful designs, FOLK have developed another item that fits the bill, in the form of their new Zevon Overshirt.
Furniture designer, Charles Eames once said: “the details are not the details, they are the design”. The little people embroidered on FOLK’s new Overshirt are just one of many features that resemble a prominent design – one that turned heads here at FashionBeans – which will no doubt flourish during the coming season.
The style and trim of this shirt has been finely tuned to shadow its challengers. Consisting of Corozo nut buttons, chambray lining, reinforced rear shoulders and a mid height chest pocket, it is available in ecru, grey and mid blue colour ways. The real attention grabber is the rearrangement of the bottom button, located further to the right hand side. Through this design FOLK demonstrate how individuality can be made with the simplest of adjustments.
With the stitching of two little people hand in hand placed around the shirt, it gives off a vibe of cheerful togetherness and unity, much like those of a warm spring evening. Fitted cord trousers and boat shoes (check out Sperry Top-Sider’s latest range) would partner well with this overshirt.
