Isaac Reina Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

Fresh in at LN-CC this week is the latest spring/summer 2012 accessories collection from Isaac Reina. For those not too familiar with Isaac Reina’s work, his range focuses on small leather goods and bags – all of which are hand crafted in Paris.

Taking a no frills approach to design, Isaac’s collections focus on simplicity. He prioritises hand-craftsmanship and quality over any unnecessary detailing, effects or features – creating a minimalistic feel to his collections and allowing the goods to speak for themselves.

This SS12 accessories collection includes: wallets, cardholders and travel bags. New editions to his ever expanding range also include laptop covers and glasses cases. Coming in just two monochrome colour ways of black and ivory, it only enhances Isaac’s concept and drive to keep things simple.

One of the items which really stood out to us was the Calfskin Travel Bag, not solely down to its simplicity but also due to its versatility. In trademark fashion, details have been kept to a minimum, with just a tarnished gold metal zip running the length of the top – creating the main focal point. To the bottom of the bag, there are four tarnished gold press studs that allow the bag to fold in half for convenience; therefore providing you with a bag which is both practical and (simply) stylish.
