Missoni x Havaianas 2012 Spring/Summer Capsule Collection

Following on from the success of their previous collaborative venture back in 2011, Italian fashion house Missoni has once again teamed up with Brazilian shoe company Havaianas to produce a spring/summer 2012 capsule collection.

Missoni – noted for their colourful patterned knitwear designs – have again added their signature zig zag and patterned prints to the popular flip flop.

The patterns have been incorporated onto each sole and come in a variety of different colour combinations – from the more vibrant and bold multi coloured assortments, to the more subtle, yet still distinctive, monochrome and muted hues.

Our favourite piece from this collection has to be the striking multi-coloured style. It is also the design which we feel represents the brand’s signature aesthetic most accurately, with many of Missoni’s garments featuring the trademark multi-coloured zig zag pattern. By picking out and utilising one of the patterns energetic colours on to the toe thong, it helps bring the flip flop to life – giving it an added burst of energy.

The dual branding from each label makes this collection easily recognisable and the perfect summer footwear for all you fashion fanatics out there.
