Released as part of the Rivington spring/summer 2012 collection comes the Holden shoe from footwear brand Pointer.

The Holden silhouette comes in two styles of leather and suede; it is the suede creation which we would like to showcase to you today, as it is a much more casual, versatile option than its leather counterpart.

Despite its chunky appearance, the Holden is deceivingly lightweight, which makes it a perfect choice for the upcoming spring/summer season. This is only further reinforced by its suede construction, a material that is much more appropriate for the warmer months as opposed to winter – where the cold, wet weather has ruined many a beautiful suede shoe.

Featuring a contrasting thick, almost golf-style, sole the Holden can be dressed up or down to suit. They offer a relaxed edge when combined with lightweight summer tailoring, whilst they will instantly smarten up a chinos and shirt combination for a night out or an afternoon in a beer garden.

The Holden comes in two colour ways of navy and wheat (which features a bold blue sole).

Overall this is a refined spring/summer shoe that will command attention due to its subtle detailing.
