Earlier on in the month we told you about the upcoming opening of Selfridges’ new Men’s Shoe Department; set to be the biggest dedicated men’s shoe space in the world. It’s now open, and if you haven’t already been, here is a closer look at this amazing new shopping experience – just for us boys!

Everything you could want, need or imagine is here – over 15,000 square feet, housing over 250 brands, with bespoke brand boutiques and a made-to-order shoe salon adding Selfridges’ signature luxe touch.

There’s a unique feel to this space that differs from the rest of the store. It feels even more exclusive, a real treasure and a massive step forward for the store in realising the ever-increasing market of men’s fashion. Selfridges is one of the first retail brands to really champion its men’s department — taking note of how much the modern gents takes pride in his appearance.

The space is cool, calming and elegant at every turn. The bespoke brand layouts are a particular highlight, with Paul Smith’s jet-black walls and book-filled units being of note.

Prices range from £25-£10,000, so to say there is something for everyone is a little bit of an understatement. The top end of that scale is the rough price for a pair of custom Tom Ford boots. That’s one to add to your Christmas list.
