Alexander Wang has released a preview into his latest fall/winter 2012 menswear collection.

One of the reasons we like this sporty line is because – unlike current high fashion collections on the market – it’s clear to see that this range has been designed with a major emphasis on comfort and soft silhouettes. Comfortable sports inspired garments such as hoodies, sweat tops, jogging bottoms, knitwear and casual outerwear take centre stage, which are juxtaposed against the more fashion forward pieces, such as shirts and chinos.

Dark hues of black and grey dominate this collection, with more muted colour ways of soft green and navy also being incorporated onto particular items.

This edgy yet easily wearable collection is simple and effective. Clean lines and block colours are prominent throughout, adhering to a minimalistic approach that doesn’t need to feature overpowering colour, pattern or unnecessary branding in order to garner attention.

In the few years in which the label has been established, the popularity of the T BY Alexander Wang menswear line has grown rapidly – and here at FashionBeans we can’t wait for the next instalment.
