Tom Ford Spring/Summer 2012 Lookbook
To get you out of the winter blues and ready for the warmer months of spring/summer, Tom Ford has released his SS12 menswear lookbook.
Modelled by Mathias Bergh, Tom Ford took an unusual hands on approach to the photography by shooting the lookbook himself – the result a stimulating and sophisticated look into his new collection.
Tom Ford – a FashionBeans HQ favourite when it comes to tailoring with his signature cuts – shows off a collection consisting of sharp silk and linen suits, 50s style ties, crocodile moccasins and the iconic aviators glasses which Tom Ford often favours for many of his lookbooks and advertising campaigns.
The well styled collection sees an array of different colour ways being utilised, from more subtle dark tones of blacks, grey and browns to more summer infused playful shades of blues and purples.
What we particularly love about Tom Ford’s collections is that even the more casual items (such as the vibrant plaid shirts) still manage to look elegant and refined when paired with smart trousers – in no small part down to their superb cut and finish.
For us here at FashionBeans, when it come to tailoring and well fitting collections, they don’t come much better than Tom Ford.
