With snow having hit some parts of our fair isle this week, it is hard to picture the return of those warmer days. Vanishing Elephant are making it somewhat easier though with the release of their SS13 lookbook. Pastels and prints lead the way in this sweet and simple collection, whilst a use of crisp colour blocking makes it even more appealing.

Strengthening the notion that prints will remain as big next year; Vanishing Elephant have provided a diverse range fit for any personal style. Intricate prints make ideal pieces for layering, whilst bolder florals can simply stand alone. Working within a light palette of pastels and dusty blues has resulted in a vintage looking collection that references cool coastal American styles.

With a focus on no fuss styling, this summery look is easily achievable but is made all the more interesting by the displayed prints and quirky colours.
