I’m not sure if Olly Murs and I are referring to the same, but as a self-confessed t-shirt junky, my heart most definitely skipped a beat when I found this brand… (Don’t worry guys, I cringed when I read that back too.) Worn By describe themselves as ‘classic, Polaroid and original’ – so far I am in agreement.
Established in 2004, Worn By creates unique, nostalgic clothing. Each garment is an ode to an icon/iconic moment from a point in history. Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Mohammed Ali, Woodstock and The Beatles are a few of the names amongst the designer’s list of inspirations, and each feature heavily in the clothing designs.
Each piece plays with colour and print and falls in perfectly with this season’s menswear trends. Just about every pattern has been used from tribal, Fair Isle, spots and stripes to ‘geotribal’ – a combination of geometric and tribal prints (what will they think of next?)
They have even paid homage to Givenchy (or at least I hope that’s how it was intended) and their new floral Rottweiler tee.
The collection doesn’t end there. Worn By offer a selection of sweaters and jeans, with a new collaboration also to be announced in part two of this read.
You can now snatch a piece of true iconography for as little as £15! You know the drill…
