Matthew Zorpas: London 100, A Gentleman’s Guide Book
With his sharp tailored style, Matthew Zorpas has become a London fashion scene fixture. Never missed off any best dressed list and constantly being photographed, he has even been featured within FashionBeans’ very own street style section. A creative consultant and lecturer at the renowned fashion school Instituto Marangoni, Zorpas is perhaps best known as The Gentleman Blogger. Launching only last year, the men’s fashion blog has become hugely popular and developed into one of the go-to sites for style tips, all accompanied by beautiful imagery. In his latest venture, Zorpas has moved away from online world with the release of his book, London 100, A Gentleman’s Guide. Though originally from Cyprus, Zorpas has called London home for the past seven years, so it only fitting that the city is the backdrop for the book’s imagery. Photographer Adam Tannous, a friend and collaborator of The Gentleman Blogger, successfully captures the essence of Zorpas’ dapper style in a plethora of visually stunning London settings.
“London has shown me more of the world than I can ever imagine. The doors that have been opened to me, the people that have invited me in, and the places that I have seen.” Matthew Zorpas
The book is the perfect visual companion for the style-conscious gent and a great reference point to garner style tips from Zorpas himself, with one hundred outfits on show. It has an initial limited edition print run of just five hundred and captures Zorpas’ favourite spots in the city – including St. Pancras Hotel and Europe’s tallest building, The Shard. All looks were styled by the man himself and include clothing from
