Velsvoir Bow Ties
Brothers Talha, Zak and Zubair Timol have teamed up to give the bow tie a much needed luxe makeover. Velsvoir is the result: an international luxury fashion brand based between London & Dubai. The brand specialise in bow ties but also produce neck ties and pocket squares in an array of colours, prints and materials. Each piece is handmade in London; with the bespoke ethos of the label, quality craftsmanship is at its very core. Velsvoir launched in 2012 and in a short space of time has managed to garner a wealth of high profile customers and a cult international following. For 2013, the label has introduced three distinct new product lines…
1. Mainline
The Velsvoir mainline collection includes printed, velvet and premium lines. The printed bow tie line retails at £60 and offers a selection different prints applied to slightly oversized silhouettes. A highlight style is the beautiful Aztec design, which utilises a striking palette of pink, brown and black. The velvet styles are priced at £75 and are available in solid colours for a classic feel. The stand out piece within this range has to be the on trend teal version, which would make a great alternative to standard black – subtle but still rich in colour. If you fancy added a tactile element to your look, crushed velvet styles are also available in pink and silver. The premium collection is where the brothers really get to showcase their creative talents – with a plethora of prints, colours and embellishments all available. Individual pieces are priced at £95 and key styles include a studded black leather version and a tiger print design. All the bow ties come pre-tied with a collar size adjuster and packaged in a beautiful gift box.
2. Verte
The brothers are soon to launch an ethical line that will utilise organic and recycled sustainable fabrics. The packaging will also use recycled materials and a significant proportion of the profits will be donated to charity.
3. Noir
