First Collection Unveiled With Style Collective
Amsterdam fashion brand Scotch & Soda has partnered with British style collective the Sartorial 7 to celebrate the launch of its new tailoring brand, Atelier Scotch. The luxury collection is detail-rich, with all fabrics sourced in Italy. Atelier Scotch describes its wearer as one who focuses on contemporary formal dressing. The brand claims the sub-line, which launched earlier in the year, offers men the opportunity to develop a gentlemanly look in their own style. Atelier Scotch invited UK-based style collective the Sartorial 7 to Amsterdam to put their unique spin on the debut collection. The resulting video showcases Atelier Scotch’s AW14 collection through seven men selecting seven outfits reflecting both the clothing and the individual personalities. The collection uses two tailoring blocks, slim and skinny. It also includes knits such as merino, Shetland and cashmere, washed cutaway collared shirts, sumptuous double-breasted Chesterfield coats, Melton bomber jackets and trousers featuring Savile Row-inspired details such as reinforced internal waistbands and French panelling. Atelier Scotch’s debut range is available in stores and online now. Prices start from £19.95 for accessories and £419.95 for blazers.
