Car Manufacturer Pushes Fashion Arm
Luxury car company Bugatti has opened a lifestyle boutique in London’s as it expands into clothing and accessories. The unit, located at 20 Brompton Road, is the first of 30 stores planned in key fashion hubs over the next five years. The current autumn/winter collection includes two main lines centred on men’s fashion: the Ettore Bugatti collection and the Performance Luxury range, featuring high tech materials. In addition to these, the business also offers tailor-made/bespoke pieces exclusively for Bugatti customers, along with limited edition capsule collections, such as the recent Bugatti Legends line. Prices are available upon request. “Bugatti is not only synonymous with state-of-the-art technology and stunning performance in the automotive sector, but also with a unique lifestyle in keeping with the artistic roots of the Bugatti family,” said president of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. Wolfgang Dürheimer, at the launch in London. “Of course, luxurious and exclusive super sports cars will remain our core business, but we intend to transfer the brand’s huge appeal into areas of life beyond the automotive sector. Our lifestyle collection was a successful first step, which paved the way for our first boutique.”
