Spring Shopping Festival

Stores in Seven Dials and St Martin’s Courtyard are keen to pick up on the recent trend of retail ‘experiences’. The announced Spring Shopping Festival follows on from similar events in London, including a discount party on Carnaby Street.

More than 130 shops, bars and restaurants are to take part in the one day attraction later this month, designed to coincide with the start of the British music festival season.

In addition to in store and outdoor activities on display in the vehicle free streets and within the St Martin’s Courtyard, shoppers will benefit from a 20 per cent discount on all purchases.

Organisers plan to use a faux grass lawn and deck chairs to recreate the festival setting and provide a place for visitors to relax, watch live performances, enjoy street food stalls and take part in outdoor games.

Brands already signed up include Carhartt, Diesel and Foxhall London as well as new additions to the area, Franklin & Marshall and Superga.

Male grooming will be represented by American cosmetics giant Khiel’s, which has agreed to match the clothing discount, while Murdock London will be serving cocktails in its outdoor lounge area.

The Seven Dials and St Martin’s Courtyard Spring Shopping Festival will take place on Saturday May 17th between 12pm – 5pm.

To qualify for the discount, shoppers can register for a free ticket at SevenDials.co.uk.
