New Topman LTD Collection Released
Menswear giant Topman has launched its debut Limited collection of 2014. The inspiration behind the Arcadia-owned firm’s Southsiders line is yet more firsts as it comes from America’s original motorcycle clubs. The announcement comes just days after boss Sir Phillip Green announced plans for expansion in the US arm of the brand. Unveiled today, Topman reports the new collection as having “all the staples of summer riding”. The theme can be found in dusty white trucker jackets paired with sun bleached chambray shirts, indigo sweaters worn over printed T-shirts, and tan suede bombers matched with retro skull bandanas. A spokesperson at the brand told FashionBeans: “The first of our spring/summer Ltd trends takes inspiration from the early American motorcycle clubs and their long dusty rides along the west coast of America.” “Our homage to these bastians of the road also includes a good dose of nostalgic Americana in the form of stars and stripes inspired prints,” they added. Southsiders is available in store and online now with price points ranging between £18 for T-Shirts to £70 for jackets. Topman also confirmed that the brand’s Design Collection will go live on Friday.
