Menswear Brand Adds Winter Boots To Range
Men’s casual wear brand Weekend Offender has expanded the footwear arm of its business to include boots for AW14. The models comprise three new designs and colour ways – tan and dark brown and a single style in burgundy – inspired by the mod and skinhead subcultures of the UK. The Walker shoe takes on a chukka boot shape, featuring a round toe front, white rubber sole and reinforced heel. Meanwhile the hiking/work boot hybrid Whisper is equipped with a padded collar for added ankle support. The Wade rounds off the collection, taking on a classic American moc toe work boot design, with a reinforced heel and panelled stitching. Each model is crafted from leather and finished with an embossed logo on the tongue, in addition to the brand’s signature prison branding on the side. A hidden feature is found the in the tongue, which also acts as a secret pocket. The footwear designs add to the British label’s AW14 line up, which also includes t-shirts, shirts, outerwear and denim. Weekend Offender’s Walker, Whisper and Wade boots, all £99, are available now in the brand’s D’Arbly Street store, London, and via its online store.
