FashionBeans Premiers SS15 Video Lookbook
Premiering exclusively with FashionBeans, British heritage brand Farah has taken to London’s Barbican centre to showcase the first drop from its new SS15 collection, in a behind the scenes video. Meaning you don’t have to head to the tropics to get your first taste of summer this year, the video delivers both style and aesthetics, contrasting the label’s urban look against the brutalist structure of the building and lush tropical gardens inside it. Yes, we know it’s practically Arctic out there right now, but there’s no harm in being prepared for the change of season and the wardrobe refresh that comes with it. Shot by photographer Max Arnold, the clip shows the brand’s confident approach to colour for SS15. Pinks, blues and yellows set the foundation of the palette, but the stand-out pieces have to be the printed shirts. Fusing together a variety of hues, the prints are optical and will be perfect for making a statement at summer’s various social events. Sportswear influences also weave their way through the collection, with short tennis shorts matched with 1990s style zip-up track tops adding an athletic element.
