In preparation for the warmer months, British heritage label Hackett has revealed a new collection of suits constructed entirely from linen.
The ‘City Linen’ line comprises single-breasted business styles in classic shades of grey and navy, made solely from the lightweight material.
Hailed by the brand as the “ideal summer city suit”, the range offers a more relaxed alternative to its traditional wool versions, while maintaining its signature gentlemanly aesthetic.
Accompanying the suits is a selection of accessories in varying materials – including striped ties, footwear, a piped briefcase and leather accessories – as well as shirting, stationery and silk cardigans.
Since opening its new London flagship store in November 2013, the Hackett brand has thrived, going on to partner with British labels Joseph Cheaney & Sons, Fox Brothers and Bill Amberg for autumn/winter 2014, on limited edition footwear and accessory lines.
Hackett’s City Linen collection is available in store now, with prices starting at £60 for accessories and £600 for suiting.
