It’s fair to assume that being based in California hasn’t given Vans much exposure to rain. So it makes sense that the US skate brand has tapped us Brits (aka connoisseurs of the wet stuff) for a collection of waterproof sneakers and, you guessed it, umbrellas.
By partnering with UK rainwear label London Undercover, the Vans Sk8-Hi Trek Cup LX has been reworked to feature an upper made from a mix of water-resistant suede and waterproof umbrella fabric, with an added heat retention layer to keep feet warm and dry.
The wet-weather kicks come wrapped in three graphic prints, including ready-for-anything camo, which have also been applied to matching umbrellas by the British brollie experts.
Your move, weather.
The Vault by Vans X London Undercover collection will be available from 24 October at Vans retailers and online, priced from £130.
