Vans Is Launching Toy Story-Themed Sneakers: This Is Not A Drill

It’s official: Vans is releasing a collection of sneakers and clothing inspired by Toy Story, and don’t even try to act like you’re too old to care. After endless rumours and leaked images, the Californian skate giant has confirmed the collaboration with Disney Pixar and the pictures will hit you right in the feels. The nostalgic line-up includes classics Vans’ styles brought to life by the animated movie’s coolest characters. For #TeamWoody there’s the Sk8-Hi Reissue PT, which transforms the sheriff’s cowboy boots into hi-tops with tan leather uppers, embroidered cactus detail and a liner that matches his shirt. Meanwhile #TeamBuzz can go to infinity and beyond in the Old Skool shape, which uses a purple and green colour-blocked design to match the Star Commander’s space suit. Of course, you’ll probably see the Vans Era covered in the little green aliens from Pizza Planet and say “ohhh”, too. As a tribute to the film, the Vans waffle gumsole has been finished with ‘Andy’ scrawled on it like Woody’s boot, and the child inside of us couldn’t be happier. The Vans x Toy Story collection will be available online and in stores from 29 November, prices tbc.
