Oi Polloi x Reebok NPC UK II Trainers

Manchester menswear retailer Oi Polloi has joined forces with sportswear label Reebok to update one of its classic tennis-inspired silhouettes. Launched in 1985, the NPC UK II ruled the courts thanks to its clean construction, abrasion resistant outsole and high quality leather upper. Today, the shoe stays true to its original form, with the contemporary design based on a vintage pair owned by Oi Polloi co-founder Nigel Lawson. The shoe features a retro cream upper, the classic stitched Reebok logo to the side and heel, a grey loopback lining, and rubber sole unit. Oi Polloi, founded in 2002, makes its presence known with coordinating branding on the inner sole of one shoe, as well as adding its logo to the tongue tab. In recent years, Oi Polloi has also teamed up with the likes of Nudie Jeans and Norse Projects on limited edition collections, while British-born brand Reebok has collaborated with London-based retailers Garbstore and Footpatrol in the past year. The Oi Polloi x Reebok NPC UK II launches on July 7 at oipolloi.com, with a limited run of 300 set for release.
