Moustache Wax For Raise Funds For Charity Event
London perfumers Penhaligon’s has pledged it support for men’s health foundation Movember for a fifth consecutive year. The London Collections: Men (LC:M) partner plans to sell an exclusive Moustache Wax to raise funds and awareness for the month-long campaign, which challenges men to grow facial hair. Bosses have announced that £2 out of every £5 earned from sales will be donated to the initiative to assist with charity work involving men’s health programmes related to prostate and testicular cancer. The scented wax features notes of oakmoss, tonka bean and lavender as well as woods, ozonic and metallic effects, leather, violet leaf, honey and spices; designed to mimic the smell of a tailor’s workroom. A spokesperson for the brand said: “Whether you are looking to add shape or body to your Mo, Penhaligon’s Moustache Wax is the must-have accessory for any respectable Mo Bro wanting to keep it neat this Movember.” Previous fundraising initiatives from the British business have included a pop up barbershop and an annual online Moustache Awards, which also continue this year. Entrants who post before and after shots of their facial hair to the official Penhaligon’s Facebook page can win up to a year’s supply of fragrances. Last month high street retailer River Island also joined the cause, promising to give 30 per cent of profits gained from its range of shirts produced in partnership with Movember Partnership Manager, Dan Cooper. Penhaligon’s launched its debut grooming range in July, using the official fragrance of LC:M. The Movember Moustache Wax will be available to buy from the start of November in all Penhaligon’s boutiques, concessions and online.
