Prada Spring/Summer 2012 Campaign
Boardwalk Empire star Michael Pitt (aka Jimmy Darmody) is the new face of Prada’s spring/summer 2012 advertising campaign.
Shot by renowned photographer David Sims, the campaign images and styling reflect fashion associated with the 1950s era.
The campaign images show some distinctly playful pieces from the collection such as graphic printed shirts and trousers, which are lined up alongside beautifully cut classic pieces such as double breasted blazers.
Styling for the shoot has been well executed, with a nice blend of timeless pieces layered up with colourful prints and patterns on scarves and shirts.
One of our favourite looks from the collection comes in the form of the statement checked blazer that is styled with a simple classic cardigan, which has then been accessorised with a patterned green scarf. One of the reasons we love this look is not only due to their choice of colour but because they have also managed to integrate two completely different patterns into the outfit without one outshining the other.
