Belstaff Fall/Winter 2012 Lookbook
Belstaff, the British company best known for producing high quality waterproof jackets commonly worn by motorcyclists, has drawn on the brand’s decorated heritage for the production of their latest autumn/winter 2012 collection.
The range, showcased via the accompanying lookbook, forces the brand’s motorcycling ties to the forefront, with many garments featuring a contemporary biker-esque aesthetic. This is only enhanced by the abundance of leather utilised on everything from trousers to outerwear, as well as accessories such as gloves and bags.
The main emphasis of this collection has been placed upon bold outerwear (not surprising, as this is what the brand does best) and thick chunky knitwear pieces.
Sticking to a dark colour scheme of black, grey, brown and deep rich green it is this choice of palette that represents the change in season wonderfully.
The attention to detail within this range is superb, and it is no more apparent than with the brand’s outwear collection – featuring premium finishing touches such as quilting, shearling trims and leather panelling.
From the rich shades to the contrast in textures and materials, this collection oozes luxury and almost makes us look forward to when the cold winter season rolls round again!
